UNDER 12 BOYS

As with the Under 10s, this is a new training squad that we have added to the development programme. It will provide continuity for the Under 10s to move up through the teams, but give other children, not currently within the Raiders, the chance to start playing basketball before moving up to the Under 14s and playing in national league competitions. It will further develop the fundamentals and skills that were taught at Under 10s, but increase the difficulty and add additional elements, important to the child's development.

The training squad will however be open to a large number of children as with the Under 10s, our aim is to open up the sport of basketball to as many children as possible.
