The Under 16s, along with the Under 18s, will have a new coach this season. Sean Stevens, the assistant coach last year, will take the reigns as Caine Braddon has moved up to coach the Under 18s. Sean did a great job last season, and took the team to an international tournament in Belgium over the Easter bank holiday.

The team returns quite a few players from last year, though the senior players have all moved up to the Under 18s because of age restrictions. It will give these players some really good exposure and opportunities to play National League basketball. Some of this year's team will also train and play up with the Under 18s, giving them chances to play at a much higher level.

The team performed well at the Belgian tournament, and hopefully learnt a lot from the experience. It was great to hear how well we played against the eventual tournament winners, and beating the Belgian team made the whole trip even better. We hope this will be a regular feature each season.

The team will play all their home games at the YMCA Kitto Centre.
